LHAS Challenge Week 5 Check In

So I had to miss Week 4's check in last week. I was tending to a sick child at home, and had no internet access to check in. Another week has already flown by, and it is time to check in AGAIN. These weeks are really going by quick!!!!

I have a nice maintain this week. It's an actual loss, because last week I had a slight gain. So I'll take the little loss/maintain I got this week.

154.4 +/- 0

101 mins exercised total. Not nearly what I need!!!

Side note, I had to cancel with WW. It's not because I wanted to, but because I financially needed to. I have a lot of things going on now that I have to worry about and with the divorce, I just can't afford it. So, that's that for now!!!!

With the extra stress you have gone through, a maintain is EXCELLENT!

I agree - maintaining can be just as hard, especially under stress. There are tons of free tools out there - Livestrong, sparkpeople, and others. Get a tool, find a community, and you will be okay and stay on track.

Good for you in reclaiming the loss of your slight gain from last week...maintaining and not gaining is always a good thing! Hope your little one is back to feeling healthy again! I hear you about not being able to continue WW because of finances. I agree with the last comment - I've heard that Sparkpeople is really good! Best of luck this coming week!

Welcome back! Sorry to hear about the sick kid and stress with the split. Sooooo unfun. Doing what you can to take care of yourself is always a good thing though. Healthier, happier mom for your kids. :)

I bought the WW Complete Cookbook and have been making recipes out of it lately. You could try that if you can't actually participate in the program. I'm happy to put some of them up on my blog too if you want.

Even if you can't go to the meetings, you still have your books right? You can do those on your own, I was for a while until I got sick of tracking points! I still write down everything that I eat and stay critical of my food choices, but I hope you find something that works for you!

Divorces suck. I went through it last year. I hope you're doing alright. Let me know if you need to bounce some frustrations off of somebody. I'm available. :-)

There are gals I work with that "do" WW without going to the meetings. I'm sure you'll be fine as you've got this group here to help keep you motivated. I hope you have a great week.
